The Inspiration
For centuries, the Hippocampus has been attributed with the power to protect against evil spirits. Our Hippocampi are inspired by the wrought iron lamps on Dublin's Grattan Bridge - the gateway to our lively city neighbourhood. Bridging Parliament St with Capel St, across the River Liffey, it was once the channel of brewery distribution in its 18th & 19th century heyday. Our hippocampi serve as our protectors on our beer journey.
